After winning the 2019 Masters to complete what will go down as arguably the greatest personal comeback in sports history, Tiger Woods is now the betting favorite to win the second major of the year, the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage Black.

Woods is no stranger to playing and winning on the Bethpage State Park’s Black Course. He won his second career U.S. Open, leading from wire-to-wire, on the iconic course in 2002; he finished T-6 at Bethpage at the 2009 U.S. Open; and he finished T-38 at the The Barclays (now called The Northern Trust) in 2012 after suffering knee and back injuries in the tournament’s second round. According to PGA.com, Woods has a career scoring average of 70.17 in 12 career rounds at Bethpage Black.

While Woods is clearly back at the top of his game, there are also more talented golfers chasing him than ever before. With that being said, here’s a look at the current 2019 PGA Championship odds.

Odds courtesy of Sportsbook.ag as of April 18, 2019.

Brooks Koepka (+1500)

In case you’ve somehow missed it, Koepka flat-out shows up when major championships are on the line. This tournament will likely be no different. And for what it’s worth, Koepka’s skillset is a great fit at Bethpage.

Rory McIlroy (+1200)

History has proven that Rory is nearly unbeatable when he’s at the top of his game. Will he be able to put it all together on one of the toughest courses in the world? Only time will tell.

Justin Thomas (+1000)

Bottom line: Thomas is a threat to win every tournament he enters. The 25-year-old can literally do it all, but he will have to put together four consistent rounds to win at Bethpage.

Dustin Johnson (+1000)

Many people consider Johnson to be the most talented golfer on the planet today. I am one of them. Had Tiger not won the Masters, Johnson would likely be the favorite to win the 2019 PGA Championship. And as of today, I believe he is in great shape to win his second career major (and first PGA Championship).

Tiger Woods (+800)

As I mentioned above, Woods has already proven his worth with a major championship on the line at Bethpage Black. And as he proved at Augusta National, the 15-time major winner is back at the top of his game. It’s also worth pointing out that this current generation of elite players have yet to truly experience the pressure that comes with ‘Tiger Mania.’ Don’t be surprised if Woods lives up to the hype and contends at Bethpage next month. Other notables:

  • Justin Rose (+1800)
  • Rickie Fowler (+1800)
  • Jason Day (+2000)
  • Jon Rahm (+2000)
  • Bryson DeChambeau (+2500)
  • Francesco Molinari (+2500)
  • Jordan Spieth (+2500)
  • Xander Schauffele (+3000)
  • Adam Scott (+3500)
  • Tony Finau (+3500)
  • Tommy Fleetwood (+3500)
