With Tom Brady taking his talents to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the New England Patriots are in the market for a new starting quarterback for the first time since the turn of the century.

We’ve already given you a look at who the oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag are picking to be the Pats starting quarterback in 2020. But, judging by their latest offerings, those same oddsmakers expect Bill Belichick and Co. to be in the market for a quarterback again in 2021.

That said, here’s who the oddsmakers at BetOnline have given the best odds at being the Patriots starting quarterback in 2021.

Odds courtesy of BetOnline.ag as of March 21, 2020.

Dak Prescott (+900)

Prescott has yet to sign a long-term deal with the Cowboys, and there is no telling if he will any time soon. Nonetheless, it’s hard to envision a scenario with him not in Dallas for the long-term.

Kyle Trask (+700)

Trask, who will be a senior at the University of Florida in 2020, has a very unique story. He burst onto the national scene in 2019, and now has some scouts thinking he could go very early in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Jarrett Stidham (+500)

Stidham is the favorite to be New England’s Week 1 starter in 2020, but his long-term viability is unknown at this point.

This much we are aware of, however: the former fourth-round pick will be facing a massive amount of pressure if he takes over for Brady this fall. And as we are all know, Belichick isn’t the most patient coach in the league when it comes to player development.

Trevor Lawrence (+500)

Could the Patriots somehow find themselves with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft? Stranger things have happened.

Deshaun Watson (+300)

Wouldn’t this be wild? In all honesty, after what transpired this offseason, it wouldn’t surprise me at all to see Texans head coach/GM Bill O’Brien send Watson packing next offseason.

Others:

  • Jacoby Brissett (+1100)
  • Andy Dalton (+1200)
  • Cam Newton (+1200)
  • Derek Carr (+1200)
  • Matthew Stafford (+1200)
  • Taysom Hill (+1200)
  • Mac Jones (+1600)
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick (+2000)
  • Sam Ehlinger (+2500)
  • Brian Hoyer (+3300)
  • JT Daniels (+3300)
  • Aaron Rodgers (+5000)
  • Patrick Mahomes (+10000)
